HUMMER AT BILLING
« on: August 15, 2004, 20:14:41 »
I didnt get to go to Billing, and was looking at the Land Rover enthusiast mag write up, in the centre of the first picture there seems to be a Hummer, is this a Action Vehicles Storm Warrior, built on a Range Rover chassis.
If so, did anybody have a good look at it, was it any good????

It's a genuine Hummer and was on the Specialist Leisure stand. They often bring it to shows.

If you mean the red one, it is a real hummer. Saw it at both billing and Eastnor Castle. Didnt have a good look as it wasnt of much interest. I saw some pictures of the one they build on a patrol or landcruiser base which looked pretty cool. Do you have any pics of the rangerover based one?

Cheers,

The red one belongs to Patrick Kear, who owns (or co-owns) Specialist Leisure.
He also owns the white Wrangler on their sites Gallery page& few proto-type & rare JEEPS.
I know him a bit, he's a friend of the bro-in-law
