I pitched this idea to Thrasher yestaday, but thought I'd put it open to public viewing on account of I want as many opinions as possible.
Right so we have the Lancashire Rep (Andy the Landy, meeting in Manchester) and the Cumbria Rep (Can't remember atm, and don't think there is a meeting!). but if you look that leaves the area from about Penrith to Blackpool Rep-less, and this was where I thought we could use a new section.
The
Morecambe Bay representive could cover all this area, and over as far as the Yorkshire border, would just bring together more of the Mud-Club members, and possibly help to kick start the MC as to finding new members in these areas.
Already, the idea of a pub meet
Here went down well, and so this makes me feel that it is a gap that is waiting to be plugged.
Not trying to force a desision here, but I would be willing to voulenteer as the rep (assuming "I'm not too young") and to lead the area, which doesn't have as many Mud-Club members as it possibly should have, considering the scenery and terrain is perfect for Off roading.
As I said, Thrasher already got this idea yestaday and I belive it is going up in front of the top brass soon, but I was looking for some more views from the people who really make this forum tick, the plain old members.
