Be careful fitting 12,000's to a 90, you should be re-inforcing the chassis as when the cable is at one end of the drum, it is capable of twisting the chassis.9,000 or 9,500 gets my vote, 10,000 at a push.I've been reliably informed that only the Landcruiser has a chassis strong enough by default for a 12,000 (out of the car type 4x4s, not unimogs and alike) and yes, I do mean the chassis, not just a new bumper on the front.EE :twisted:

Most of the time when you are trying to save money im all for it but cheap winches could really leave you in the poo. The vehicle that was stuck is now stuck with a fritzed battery????? Not nice in the middle of nowhere.
