Took the family for a spin today and stopped off at Llanberis. Whilst there we visited the National Slate Museum.
We carried on in a circular route and ended up at the tip of the Lleyn Peninsula looking over to Bardsey Island

Do you know you make me so jealous. Wish i was back home. used to love the slate mine and the walk around the wood by the old quarry. and the train drive along the side of the lake

flippen heck amazed that old mine truck is still hanging up. its been their for years :shock: . Still looks as good as it did years ago
