Winch Mounting
« on: July 17, 2006, 22:35:50 »
Hi

I think I have designed a mounting bracket for a winch for the Surf.  I say I think I have because I need to have one made, and test it to make sure the winch will fit, and the air flow isn't restricted (I have some ProComp 100s on the A bar already in front of the grille).

Once I have had this made and fitted, I'll take some pics and post them on here so you can see what it look like, and let me know if you want one too.

I'm also designing a jerry can holder for 20 litre cans to start with, that will fit inside the car and working on a kit to fit it outside too.....I'll keep you all posted on progress.

cheers,

Andrew.

I'll take a look at your winch mounting when it's made. Been looking for an ARB winch bumper but they're a tad expensive.
