Hi there, a little while back I saw a Disco with some very tasty decals on the side saying Discovery 150, anyone with any ideas what it may mean. I think it was a P reg 300tdi.

Answered by Darren Burgess in another forum:

The Discovery 150 was a special edition commissioned by a group of dealers in the Midlands in 1996. There were only 150 of them (hence the name) and they were similar to the XS but with a slightly different combination of extras.

LuckyTrucker........ where did you see it? I posted the same question on another forum that prompted the answer mentioned above after seeing it in Peterborough 2 or 3 weeks ago.

It was a metallic red - the same one, maybe?.......

I was going to say if it referred to the wheelbase you'd notice a 150" Discovery

Hi there, it was a metalic blue one. I saw it at Jacks Hill transport cafe on the A5 at Towcester a few months ago. I was impressed by the decals it had on it besides the 150 as my wife's Disco has just had a full respray and I am looking for something to lighten up the paint work.
It certainally was not a 150" wheel base I think I might have noticed that and it did not look to remarkable besides the 150.

Could it have been a Alisport or such like special with 150bhp yeeeeeehaaa
