Odd Colour Choice

I was sitting in traffic this afternoon in the Mondeo when a 90 pulled up along side

Now it was a colour I'd never see one painted before.
On the Discovery Td5 I think it was called 'Kinverton'???

Our 'spare car' is a similar colour, except that's called 'Cayenne Metallic'

Has anyone else ever seen a Defender in this colour & have they got a photograph???
(I didn't have the camera with me :shock: )

Never seen that colour or similar on defender, there is a freelander down the road with it tho.

It's not a stock colour, so it was either a special order, or resprayed. it was a 'Y' plater
I'll definately be on the lookout for it again

had acheck in a pre-facelift Td5 brochure  &it's actually 'KinverSand'

i've seen a defender in a similar colour to that before, looked quite nice :)
