Santanas?

As much as I loved the 90 for the weekend, I was a little off-put but the fact that it was a, surprisingly cramped to drive and B, that when the time comes toreplace rabbit, it'll Cost me about £30K. This against a Santana that seems more powerful, possibly better put together (Rabbit is a Santana Build) and has all the extras I want plus space to drive it for just over half the price.

In particular, does anyone own one, interchangability of LR parts, things like that.
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

they are supposed to be quite good - parabolics instead of coils means its a bit more flexible than a series.

i think that there are hardly any parts that would be interchangable - they look very similar but are very different.

I've heard some very positive things about them.

Supposedly (according to a mate of mine who's also contemplating one) it's the same gear-box as a BMW Z4 since BMW own the company.

I've also heard that the British Army use some specific Santana parts for their Landies which would indicate that some components are interchangeable (in one direction at least).

The engine is pretty good... but the build quality on the ones I've seen is pretty poor (and that is comparing to a LR !!!)   There was rust running down the inner wings of the first one I saw.
