Normally you lift a bonnet on a Landy and other Landy lovers can't wait to stick their oily little heads in.......... :)  :)

Not today  :(  :(
Took the rangie for a spin after getting back from Billing, which was great by the way,and spent over an hour sat in the central reservation on the A46 where over 20 Landies, including 4 G4's, drove by oblivious to the fact that the bonnet was up and I was sat with the dog on the grass in the shade of a little road sign right next to one of the busiest roundabouts there is........one of the G4 drivers even smiled as they looked at us

After witnessing first hand this weekend the helpful spirit that is evoked by being a member of the same club, or driving the same car etc and also having seen the less than helpful attitude of some others in those same clubs or with those same cars I have come to the conclusion that NICE people will help when they can no matter what club you're in or what car you drive and there will always be those,no names cos you should already know who you are, who only look out for themselves.

Driving a Landy or joining a club doesn't make horrible people any nicer

Rant over...........for now  :)

P.s. Thanks to all those who helped us rescue our awning or kept kids in the dry til they could get back into caravan      what a storm :-s

If you see my pics regarding the M1 you will see a landy on the side. I wandered over to offer help ;-) I think he was a bit shocked when I drove past and waved when the queue eventually moved ;-)

Diagnosed problem easily - mud in rad <giggle> Nothing we could really do to help apart from point the error of his ways ;( WASH the rad after playing in the mud!!!

I think jet lag has kicked in
Still it was a giggle
Best bit was your other half and her dressing gown tottering off to the loo at shortly before 4-30am.
Couldn't quite make out the names she called us

When I broke down in the 101 on the way back from Malvern last year, the Camel Trophy Owner's Club stopped to give me a hand.  They couldn't have been more helpful.  Camel vs G4 eh?

Well, about 4 of them actually!  Passers-by probably thought it was an AA convoy.

dunno about any one else but i came across an accident this morning on the way to an event involving a mondeo & a 110,the 110 appeared to have gone across the road & into the drivers side of the mondy opening it up like a tinopener,

first thoughts were to make sure that the people were ok & to check if the 110 driver was heading for the same event,

to cut a long story short the 110 driver took a funny turn & collapsed whilst i was talking to him which he was sorted out by the paramedics, they were more concerned about the driver of the mondy who had now gone totally quiet with no response to the outside world where as the driver of the 110 was still responding ocasionally,

whilst we were there the police shut the road due to the seriousness & when i came back through at 8 o'clock the road was still shut,

BTM should be able to judge the final outcome,

put  abit of a dampner on the day but was glad i could assist in some way
