Today was my graduation ceremony.  It's official, I am now a Master of Pharmacy, 1 year from now and all that might be standing between you and some real hard (legal) drugs is me!

Congratulations.

On the handwriting, I gave a (private, handwritten on hospital letterhead) prescription to a pharmacist a few years ago and she looked at it and just laughed.

"What's the matter?", I asked.  "Can't you tell what it's for?".

"Yes, but that's the only bit I can read.  I have no idea who I'm supposed to be giving it to."

"That's OK. I know who I am.  As long as you can read the rest, we're in good shape."

She didn't seem too convinced, but gave me the necessary stuff.

I know what I did the next morning - it was straight up to Perth to co-drive in my first Hillrally!

The morning after the night before, I strapped a helmet to my head and got into the wrong side of a leaf sprung Series 1 LR to be thrown around the Scottish hill sides.

That was almost exactly ten years ago and I am lucky enough to say I've competed on every one since, more recently in the driver's seat.

I wouldn't say life has got any easier, but I can now afford to run a Land Rover (just!) so it can't be all bad.

Cheers

H

Thanks to everyone. To answer some comments and questions, I haven;t really celebrated, but have had plenty of Champagne (nice bit of Moet et Chandon last week!).  I have started to do my work placement in a chemists, at the end oh June next year I have 2 more exams until its just me in charge!  The ceremony (and incidently the photo) was at the Brighton Dome; in Brighton!
