Leak?

Hi all, long time away I know but need some advice?
I'm leaking water from where I guess the water pump is housed. Checked all the hoses and they are fine. It's dripping from the gasket seal to the pump housing?
Coolant tank is empty and when filled it just drips out again?
Help, ideas, advice please?

The obvious thing is the gasket, but there is normally a tell tale hole in the casting near where the shaft enters the housing on the pump, try to move the pump sideways by holding onto the pulley, if it moves it means the pump has had it
the coolant leaks through the shaft seal and out this hole

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40
