I was told 12 miles of driving ago that I should replace my clutch (which I destroyed @ Bircham) with a Paddle thing from KAP..... Did I? No..... First time back out today at Bures and after 12 miles and hundreds of smiles I have NO CLUTCH again!

I thought i'd get 2 or 3 plays from it..... Amanda will go mad.....

Also....

I've screwed me rear axle..... anyone got one..... for a spanish 410 or point me in the right direction

Oh

a couple of wheel arches too

Sounds like it was a good day out though :)
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

You wanna believe it..... Me and the Sammy were absolutely cakek in mud, There were two other Zukes there, both vitara's, one was as muddy as mine and pulled me out of the mire once and back to the Vito at the end of play ! the other was very funny, we persuaded him to go through the mud run, right throught the middle..... when he eventually emerged he'd left his front bumper, rad grille and various other plastic remants in it!

at about 11.30 he'd said about his next mod being the removal of his side steps... by 3pm he had no steps! no bumper, no grille and a smashed rear screen.....

I am miffed at the clutch..... everyone said it ould happen, I suppose if your running MTs and they dont spin somethin must give.... and obviously its the clutch!

Thanks for that, I am in Teversham..... and work in Peterboghorror..... I am sure the Prop Bolt holes are different! I'll make enquiries....

I was leaking tranny oil from the NS wheel hub, and upon pulling the zuke home boiled the axle, my specialist home made breather at the top of the screen looked like a chimney, I'm no expert but when the back of the car, Light board and wheel arch  are completely soaked ith oil and theres a sizzling bubbling noise and smoke..... like a BBq then I gues its knackered!

Can't really imagine what the axle problem is. If there is oil in there, it will lubricate the gears. If there is none, it cannot get hot!

I think it's only the very early 410's that had a different bolt pattern. Yours should be late enough to fit the more commonly available late axles.

Yippeee...... Hey steve..... soon we'll be experts!

Spoke to Darren @ KAP and he said I only need the clutch plate cause me other bits are only 12 miles old   so thats saved some dosh.... but he's sending me a new coil too..... should sort the hot start issue.... the one on it arcs out when hot! and cause he did a deal I've promised I'll by the 2" lift Springs off him when I've sorted the clutch! and then for bigger tyres!

On the Axle... I'll sort the seal, fill it up and give it a go.....

BTW I now own another Zuke too......

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=015&item=250012965063&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

looks Cool...... May need the Axle..... Roof looks better than mine.... to be fair right now the whole car looks better than mine!

I think I'll mot the pair.... and the best one is the toy, the other gets broken and kept for parts!

Got to work out how to hide one from Amanda...... I can see it now "What do you mean there's two piles of sh*t in the front garden" "must be breeding season"

Well, the times I've had the gearbox and transfer boxes in and out, I am getting that down to a fine art   And the first transfer box took 2 hours to strip.... the second took less than 30 minutes  :D Now, if I can only get the main dealer to come up with the parts.....
