What's this bit called

Help please.Behind the front axle there's a bar with 2 trackrod ends and a damper on it .what do you call the bar cos mine's now V shaped (even I know this isn't right cos the front wheels shouldn't point in different directions  :lol: ).Any way could anyone tell me what part to order.Cheers Pete

Hi mate, That'd be the track rod then :lol:

Get a spanner, undo it at both ends & take it off. Straighten it out & put it back on. It'll do you right till you can get another from any motor factors.

Hey Pete. I know b****r all mi sen mate, but the same thing happened to me on an off road day!! (although I've been off roadin' for a while, I've been lucky (or I'm a soft driver) & thats one of the few things that have gone wrong!!

On the Paddock list it's called a track rod tude,so I don't feel just as thick now :lol: .Pete

I have a southdown axle guard but have re-made my track rod with H/D sleeve that rotates so conforms to arc spec. 8)
After laying in wet mud TWICE I am not taking any chances :lol:
