:?: After playing in deep wet mud I loose about half the output from the alternator on my 200Tdi. Any advice on protecting alternator from getting mud in would be useful. Thanks

not really no unless im missing something ? :?
onlything i can suggest is spray with wd40 b4 playing its what i do, only hade 1 alternator fail on me because of dirt ingress and bearing collapsing on me

My TD5 one died the other day, When we swapped a new one on we mad up a kinda splash plate to keep some of the mud away, other than that its down to the Wd-40..
