LOL indeedy :D found the fault with the stereo wiring, the earth wasnt wired in tight enough so had come out, all working now!  CB is fitted (did you just wedge yours in between the seat and the tunnel or did you have a mount?) and am waiting for delivery of an aerial from someone lol

had amount for it if you look were the cables come out of the center consle you will se two litle screw holes thats were it was monuted. glad you got the stereo sorted
