Stephen Bochco, the exective producer of 'Hill Street Blues', showed early episodes of 'Z-Cars' to the 'HSB' cast, in order to show them the kind of charactor interaction he wanted.

Though quite what the Yanks made of Brian Blessed, I don't know?? :lol:

why do you set questions then answer them yourself?

seems a bit odd when your trivia is quite random and the answer a bit obscure

besides what links them both is that they are both cop shows!  duh!

z cars was a bit before my time and i preferred starsky and hutch to hill street blues

then again im a bit of a young' un to answer said question :)
