SPOTTED ON M40 (and london)
« on: August 09, 2006, 19:13:43 »
1st was a New freelander wearing 'tiger stripe' tape, and 2nd was not 1 but 2 of the new RR sport based Bowlers 1 in pristine black  *drool*  and the other in 'battle scarred' orange.. also saw a RR sport supercharged giving a 500 merc a run for its money (came past me on m40 like i was going backwards.. god whata sound)
also as i was driving through Kensington saw a sign on a shop that made me smile " Doyle's INTERNET BARBER SHOP" :D:D:D:D:D
also had my 1st look at the london eye as I came over Vauxhall bridge..

sorry no pic as i was a little busy driving a scania at the time..;)
they lok very similar to previous bowlers - but the front end has the 'corperate' land rover look about it and has RR sport Grill etc..the black one was ..........GORGEOUS *droooooooooool*
the oprange one was on a trailer being pulled by a HUUUUUUGE yank pick up - made the bowler look like a dinky toy!! , funnily enough they were coming soputh fromGaydon area...so presume they had been on LR's track..

Shame you did'nt have a camera ready
I've been over taken by a racey RR sport on the M40.
If its the same one (4 exhausts) it did sound tremendous!
Remindd me of the McLaren Mercedes SLR sound (Like a Spitfire fighter)
