yeh i was driving from newton le willows thru widnes down to our centre in runcorn and it was torrential all the way

got soaked going from the car to the building too... only to be sitting in a data centre where things are cool so im frozen!

Sterted here about 16:00 yesterday, had a brief cessation during the night, but was precipitating it down when I got up at 07:00 & is still doing so.


Thundering & Lightning yesterday afternoon, & also early this morning

Peed down yesterday followed by lovely evening
Orrible today just stopped raining now.
The V festival is on this weekend at Weston Park in Staffs, could be soggy for the thousands of campers!

Could have fun getting cars out! The park has a few Landies and tractors !

Apparantly, we were told that Barnsley Hospital was flooded in sections yesteday afternoon, so we were on standby to recieve patients who lived between Wakefield & Barnsley.
The funny thing is (in a way) that the Hospital is on highest land in Barnsley :roll:

Alos the M62 was partially flooded in sections (well.... standing water yesterday tea-time)

We had a tornado last night (Thursday) in Leamington. I was driving about 4 miles away but never saw it
