When "Meetups" topics have finished, the threads get locked, so you can transfer the discussion to the "Member write-ups" forum.

And don't be so paranoid...  Posting comments like that which are designed to provoke people aren't a great idea, bearing in mind the forums are run by long-suffering volunteers.

that being the case then somebody should have had the courtesy to at least pm me to let me know why etc.  then I would not had have to place apost in the main arena to get it explained.

when u usually see a thread 'locked' it looks like something really naughty has happened, not just a simple wander off.

anyway, if thats it then thanks for clearing that up :D ...and sorry to hear that you are long suffering. :shock:

The moderators have been locking past date events for a while now.
Its not new.
I usually inform a mod when one of the events i have posted has past so it can be locked then i start a new one in the events write up section to continue it.
