Well out of sheer boredom and the fact the fitting of me remote central locking kit will have to be done by a pro i decided to do some other stuff. So over the last few days i have:
Permanently mounted me CB (wiring was already there courtesy of gtomo2)
Fitted and wired me spotlights
Replaced the gearstick (the bluetack holding the knob on was giving up the ghost)
Swapped the steering wheel so i can get in without causing myself an injury (thankyou to devon4x4 for their ebay stuff!)
Got me alloy repaired and fitted me MT's
Purchased 2 guard ducks (one provides a pleasant odour) for protection!
So here are some pics :D

be caerful not to put too much weight on that steering wheel when descending steep slopes, they snap easily, went through two of those, settled on the 4 spoke mountney in the end which is much stronger!

I prefer it, it means i can sit down on me seat and drive without getting a ditch in me legs where the steering wheel turns lol

Hello from a newbie
those steering wheels are great i used to have one on a 2 door rangie, it helped to take all the play out of the steering box that i never got round to fixing.
