WHATS ITS WORTH ??
« on: August 31, 2006, 12:01:55 »
Popped round to see a guy today who is an ex landy person, and amongst some other gear he had a superwinch epi9 which has only been used trithfully for a few times to recover his small boat, looks brand new still, this was £400       BUT-----  lurking in the corner was a 8274 warn winch :P      has not been used for at least 3 years, it has been rewired/hard wired due to a fault with the conecttor apparently?    looks old but quite good nick still,   so whats its worth ???  and can you get a "service kit" for them ???       have brought quite a bit of other gear of the guy and is all ok, AND defnitally not nicked, showed me receipts for most if the stuff      What ya reckon ??

An 8274 is worth a fair chunk of money. Ones that look like a pile of poo make £300 on ebay regularly.
