What an idiot I am!
« on: September 01, 2006, 10:22:43 »
Somebody reversed a JCB into the bumper of the Discovery a few months back, putting some big holes in it.  I claimed on my own insurance (couldn't prove who it was, although it was pretty obvious) to the tune of £900 or so for a new colour-coded bumper.

Of course at the Malvern show, I realised I could have had a nice D44 winch bumper with a Warn in it for that sort of money!

Why didn't I think of that at the time  :x

I wish this project would just hurry up and finish!

But I don't think it will if I keep making simple mistakes

Hind is not a person but the manufacturer of a pair of glasses which when worn correctly show you the path you should have taken.

What you need is another sleepy JCB driver.

If foresight was as easy as hindsight, we'd have all won the lottery by now.

Well, if it was a genuine accident, negotiating what to fix it with is fair play.

Having the accident to give you that opportunity is fraud.

I've made so many mistake's like that.
Blooming hindsight!
SD Roof rack, drilling holes in roof's then buying roof bars for lights , 4 brand new BF Goodrich standard sized muds to then lift the car....the list goes on and on
I (so far) have'nt made any mistakes with this car.

Simon
The front is looking wicked now mate.

Thanks for the positive comments.  When I get the mesh grille back on there it will look fantastic.

Have just finished wiring up the winch controls to the centre console.  It all works like a dream.  Will post some pics soon

Now, where to go and get stuck . . . . ?
