Just got 2 tires for the Audi, thats in On Monday/Tuesday :S Bloody odd size so that cost about £29 more than I expected. Wondering what else she needs doing but like you, way too mank to go out.
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

We managed to remember the MOT this year on SWMBO RRC,... even booked an appointment before run out date.

Failed on wheel bearing needing tightened and some suspension bushes.... which I fxed myself...   :(biggrin):

Re-test pased no probs... 'cept an advisory cuz apperently my biceps aint strong enough to tighten wheel bearing the way they preferred!

Here's a suggestion.... use those countdown thingys I see in peoples signatures to remind you of MOT, TAX & Insurance every time you post!

That way... we could always keep an eye open and challeng if you forget!

OK had a look while putting the steel rims back on an oh dear :(

NS front bushes are shot. Did the rear ones last year and to say they are a pig is an understatement. Looks like rear NS brake pad has been welded to the disc at some point too. So thats bushes fitting etc : £60, Porsce 925 rear disc oterwise I'll need to at god knows what and possibly a caliper if that oen is seizing.

I'm gonna go and cry now. And its not being MOTed till monday.

Can't you get yours down at the depot at Newton Hill??
They still do staff cars I believe, as I saw someone bring keys back to reception whilst I was down the other week asking about a lane with the RoW chappie.

I used to use the WYMAS garage at Pinderfields, but now (due to the new Hospital build) they've moved onto Normanton Industrial Estate, near the Scania dealer.
I just dropped it off for the MoT test & walked back home.
