My verdict -
Inside superb, although all bits of Mondeo can be seen.
Front - butch and ok
Sides - too Yank
Rear - Transit
I have not doubt it will sell well in the USA, and on spec it will sell overhere, and in 5 years time we will all be saying nice things about it, when they bring out Discovery 4 - which of course we won't like.

Must confess to quite liking it. It did look rather low, especially at the back when a tow bar is fitted - wow wot a plough!
All very plastic, but looked like VW quality plastic if u know what I mean
would be good to see one tricked up (not the G4 fluffy one) and the power output from a chipped / bigger intercooler version of the V6 diesel will be serious!
be interesting to see how it shapes up when it starts to hit the secondhand market in some 3 or so years time. Thats when I think that we will see how good it really is and what can be done to it, and of course hear of all of the electronic woes from owners, and no doubt somebody will be selling a coil spring conversion kit !!!

From the pictures I've seen of the inside it seems very remiscent of SWMBO Mondeo Ghia.
One of our Consultants was asking me about it last night as he's curious (he drives a 'P' Tdi Auto)
He's got one under consideration, or possibly (being tight-fisted) I've suggested he gets a 'run-out model' Td5 & saves money if he's just after a new Disco.
Not too sure what his plans actually are, as we were interuppted by patients
If he gets one, I'll beg a drive :D
