Well after 15 years of wanting I've finally gone and bought a landy  :lol:  :D  :lol:

It's not quite what I was after but it's certainly a start...The old girl is an ex Water Board 110 with the locker on the side..

Now it's time to start playing  8)
Hit it till it breaks then hit it some more !

Cheers All..the chassis is solid... Only downer is I couldn't got to Peterborough in her today 'cos she ain't insured yet :(

It's also got MT tyres on as well ...

Just a quick question, are you sure that its a ex-water board? As the colour is Southen Electricy Board. Mine was that coulur when it was in service. I have the same winch as well.

Hi Paul, I cann't honestly remember It has been brush painted that colour, underneath the green it's white.
Did/does yours have a roller shutter locker on the N/S ? (I'll try and get a photo of it tomorrow)

Its the free spool leaver. Is yours a PTO with shafts or PTO hydraulic pump?

Mine just has a single side locker for a gas bottle. Mine is a g plate reto fitted with a 200tdi.

I assume it's either an NA Diesel or a TD, Either way, it's a nice looking old thumper!

Well its got TDi stickers on the wings, so it might of had a TDi fitted like mine, mine is a pre-defender as well.

Looks like a nice truck, I particularly like the locker for waffle boards/general recovery gear.  Winch and snorkel? ready to go then?  looks like it's been lifted a little too.
