Sticky clutch pedal
« on: September 12, 2006, 10:08:42 »
Occasionaly my clutch pedal sticks down but only when pulling away slowly in 1st or reverse. Usually I can pop it up with my foot but twice now the pedal has stuck down and I haven't been able to take it out of reverse unless I turn the engine off.

Any ideas?

I think your Clutch fork is about to go bang!
You will soon find out, when the pedal goes to the floor, you'll pull it up with you foot, & then it will go solid.
I could be wrong, but.........?

That sounds like a big job   Sort of work I'll have to get a garage to do as its way beyond my capability, would hate to imagine what they would charge!! I'll keep an eye on it, thanks.

Hasn't done it since a few days before I put the post on so fingers crossed.

Cheers
