well done that man, keep an eye out for reprisals though, if they come back, make sure you are ready for them... and make sure he cant come back a second time....
you did the right thing, as the plod wouldn't have been interested, they couldn't give a monkeys when my 110 was stolen earlier this year.... its only worth reporting it to get a crime ref number, as your insurance company require it.
