Can anyone help with advice on the best way to fit bonnet pins

its easy enough. you need to reinforce the bottom end with a little 2/3mm steel as the body is a little too flexible.You can put them on the little span of metal next to the headlamps. fit the bottom end and see where it contacts the bonnet. Drill through and enlarge with a file. Hey presto fit the top retainer and away you go.

Or, take out the existing bonnet stops (the ones with the rubber on top). Mark the top of the posts with tipex, close bonnet and mark where it touches. Remove pillars, make hole, fit bonnet pin posts, fits bonnet top covers, jobs a gooden.

Alternatively, fit the rubber ones on the outside......., much quicker
