ive now got a turntable and mixer to connect to the pc but want to know what do you recommend to capture it to a file?

wav or mp3 i dont mind

If you have a CD recorder then 99 out of 100 of them come with some sort of software that will handle it all for you.

An MP3 file is around a tenth of the size of a WAV file so if your intending to keep them on your PC, storage might be a big factor in your descision  :wink:
