I actually took this in December last year... but I had a look around my HDD today and found these.

Nice Classic Car, and I'm sure someone (Especially BTM) Can tell us the location ;). And as the Camera pics are crap (I hadn't had my 6822 that long), it's a 3.0 CSL.

Last time we did the Classic Illuminations Rally (in a 1965 Cooper S) we finished at that Hotel. The interior is even better that the exterior if I remember correctly..... it was after 3 days of rally navigation with only a few hours sleep each night

It was at one time, but it's gutted & closed at the moment undergoing restoration.
I bet it's not going to be Art-Deco fitments when finished

SWMBO is asking if I want to go to Burgh Island (hotel) for the weekend in October, for our birthdays & wedding anniversary! :D  :D

We thinking we'll get a friend with a Private pilots Licence to fly us down to Plymouth airport (& come for us after), he says he needs a few extra hours

It was something like 14 years ago when we were there! Even then, I seem to remember it was a bit, err, jaded   But somehow it still had something special about it.

Sorry, seem to have hijacked this thread

Nice CSL
