If you've not been before it's cool.  Do you have a sunroof or a rag top, makes it all the better.

Went the first weekend - BIG mistake, took forever to drive along the sea front, and the trams were chocker.

Because of how long it took got a bit bored with them but still pretty nice to look at and the heir to the overdraft enjoyed them.
Sometimes you need to get away from the crowd, the only way to do that, is to get a little mud on the tyres.

Went last year , queued for half an hour to get in to Harry Ramsdens, then aborted and went to the Woolworths Cafe upstairs.

Kids enjoyed it

Have they finished the revamp yet they were in the middle of a load of work when we went.

Was there Saturday, still lots of work going on, although I think the new car parks are brill, traffic still solid along the front on Saturday night and the lights are still pretty, you never get that first time feeling again though.

i went on saturday swmbo wanted to be out while next door had a party, it took me 3hrs to get through heading north to south 6miles but it was a saturday night i suppose.

if you go on a friday it will be busy but there holding the world firework competitions china are tomorrows i think contenders should be pretty spectacular.

oh and the lights aren't as good as they've been in past years and if your taking kids along make sure you have some money as they'll want a blue light saber (even i wanted one) or some flashing lights that are for sale every 50yds lol

I went to the pleasure beach on Sunday - We left before it became dark unfortunatley.

Quick tip, if you want to go to the pleasure beach buy a wristband online - £20. Considering rides are £1 a ticket and stuff like the big one are 7 tickets a go, me and a mate worked out we spent about £80 in one day on the band.

No I think we missed the Spin doctor - Infact IIRC it was shut!

Basically up until this point I'd only ever been with my Parents and so it was Dodgems and thats it... So this was a new real experience!

Ice Blast x1 (Scared me S**tless)
Big Dipper x3 (Anyone else noticed the S2 109" when you go round the 360 degree bend on your side?)
Vallah x2 (Just to get wet)
And basically everything else apart from Bling and the Irn Bru - And the Space Invaders as the line was stupidly long...
