:) Just got back from a weekend in london went to see mamma mia and stopped in the chesterfield in mayfair this is the first time i have stopped in london what a different way of life god am i glad i live where i do the only land rovers i seen was a series 3 and a couple of defenders shed loads of RR sports, VW tourags,mercedes ML's,porsche cayannes etc etc..at 11:30 at night the traffic jams are worse mainly due to there being more limos than taxis!!! nice for a change but would do my head in 24/7...Oh also went on the london eye god thats high!!

It's not the doors opening that you need to worry about ... what if the thing came loose and toppled into the Thames :shock:  :wink:

:D I was well chuffed with the weather Oh and did any one know swiss army knife's with locking blades are illegal? I had mine confiscated and had to fill out a police form..before going on the eye.... :(

nothing wrong with heights spent 12 yrs jumping out of aeroplanes for a living . its not the fall its the sudden stop at the bottom  :lol:

:) I went on the London Eye a few years ago, husband got it for me as a Birthday pressie!  I spent most of my time sitting on the floor covering my eyes, I was terrified - the crazy thing is, I am ex-cabin crew and have spent most of my working life at 30,000+ feet!

I was fine on the eye despite being a little scared of heights.

Any knife with a locking blade is illegal, as far as I know.

I've been on the eye, the week before we went on it, I was sat watching Blue Peter while eating my tea and one clip they had onthere was showing Londons Fire and Rescue's rope access team getting people out of the top pod in the event of complete mechanical failure!  that was food for thought, Got a hell of a wallop off my mate for explaining how they did just as we got to the top of our flight!!!
Land Rover Defender 130 with Hyd winch and Log splitter, also has just the odd light here and there!!!
