Hi all

When i apply full lock on my 04 Navara it makes a weird noise. Sounds lke a dry joint. I have sprayed everthing with spry grease and WD40 (wishbones, etc) but its stil doing it. Has anyone else had this problem?? Only on FULL lock and it does it in 2 or 4 wd.  Any ideas??

Yup, it is the steering stop.
Blob of grease cures it, they always put a blob on when they service mine.
Sounds far worse than what it actually is though, I know what you mean.
I was already paranoid after owning Land Rovers.....A noise like that in a Land Rover sounds like a bad wallet experience.

well dudes i tried the steerring stops but it aint those. Basically when I put full lock on and the car moves it makes a weird rubbing/sqeeling noise. Just like a dry joing. Only on full lock though. If the cars standing still and you bump it up and down it doesent do it. I have greased everything in sight to no avail
