Sun Roof Trouble
« on: September 21, 2006, 16:14:41 »
A friend of mine is having problems with his sun roof (electric) on him freelander.
Has anyone got access to an exploded diagram of this so we can see what it may be.
Or advise (constructive please) on what it may be.
When you operate it only the left hand side drives, you need to push the right hand side othewise it dosen't move and just jams solid.
Thanks in advance

I'm no expert, but I suspect it's cable operated and one has snapped. Ours are just mechanical lift up ones being a 3 door  :D

Edit:
Just found this on another forum. Might be of help. Looks like there are lots of fragile plastic components that simply break too easily.

That would be very useful if you can find the details.
An indication of the price would also be nice.
