I've read in various places and searched mud club for info on improving power in my 300tdi auto discovery and came accross blanking off the egr valve,
so while at looking at the disco at mud club matty's that had the head off i made a template then came home and made a blanking plate.
Fitted it to my disco this morning :shock: what a difference, now i've only took it up the road a short distance and i'm not sure if it actually gives you more power,
but its certainly more responsive and does seem to go a lot better from a standstill and its also smoother. :D
So thanks to everyone that has commented on the fitting of a blanking plate cos without them i would'nt have known about doing it! =D>
