Other forums for selling?
« on: October 05, 2006, 21:07:21 »
This is the only 4x4 forum that I read, so I don't know what else is out there and how good/bad they are.

I would like to advertise my Discovery on other 4x4 sites before resorting to e-bay, so any suggestions welcome.

Of course, if anyone here wants to make me a reasonable offer for it ...

I've found the AWDC site www.awdc.co.uk good for selling cars, although admittedly I've only sold competition vehicles on it.

Possibly ... I'm not sure if my Discovery is a bit too "specialised" for Auto Trader? :-k

You can sell anything through the Auto Trader.
You'll get a good price too (if your lucky)
I've always done well selling series car through there.

I'm all nervous now 8-[  I've just received the following email in response to one of my ads -

Hi, what's your best price for cash from a serious buyer, not a tyre kicker! Thanks.

Well, my best price would be £2850   I wonder what he thinks I'm gonna say
