Robert Llewellyn and Lisa Rogers introduce the popular junkyard contest in which fans of engineering create contraptions from scrap materials. A team of rugby fans tackle some offshore gas workers in a contest to build a monstrously big rescue vehicle capable of retrieving a saloon car from a treacherous off-road course.

Missed most of it, as I was at work.
Only really saw the last 10minutes. The area they used for the 'race' looked like it has been completely covered in sand, it never used to be like that.

Saw an interview a few seasons ago when Cathy was still presenting, she said then that the experts gets asked in advance what they require.. Guess its up to the team to find it still, but everything they need will be out there somewhere, same as the flight challenges when all the rockets get hidden  :D

It was the same back in the days of Challenge Anneka where all the firms involved were brought on board weeks before.

Always thought it was strange how they suddenly had nice clean trucks and new company sweatshirts

Still, wish someone would give me new seats and build me a roll cage like everyone gets on scrapheap
