There IS a god!
« on: October 07, 2006, 18:44:45 »
I've been trying, with no success, to talk NPW into letting me permanently remove Clarety's side steps since we got her

A miracle has happened................ Julie's mum has 'snapped' one side off while climbing in \:D/  \:D/  \:D/  \:D/

Sorry Julie babe - other one will be whipped off tomorrow, never to be replaced (except with tree sliders )
Vehicle history:

I'd have to agree...

If one side has snaped off you would have to question how solid the remaining one is..

Take it off just incase.

That's what I told my other half when I bent the OEM one's, and replaced them with Discoparts guards with tree sliders.

"Honest Love, they're heavy duty steps so these don't break when your Mother get's in...".

Not  problem I have, My Julie thinks side steps look "gay" and should be replaced with rock sliders "by law".

Who can argue.

If your really brave you should suggest that the mother in law should pay for the replacement 'heavy duty low profile' sidesteps as she broke it

If he could afford the tree sliders then they would have been put on long ago!!!!!!  I have absolutley NO problem with him spending his money on the vehicle, unlike a lot of you out there with partners that "don't understand".

For those that don't know - I own half of the car too, and bought most of the off-road stuff for the previous car - so don't make out I am one of those whiners that won't let anything be done to make it more suitable for off-roading.

Heres a whacky idea. dont get a partener and then you wont have a mother in law.

You can add and remove as you wish

I did go around for a week with a tree slider on 1 side and a girly side step the other side whilst I was waiting for the next weekend to come round to fit the other slider :D Sliders look SO much better than girly side steps that bent and loose the rubber off the side.
