I seen a body lift at rhino central for £50. is it just a case of replacing the body mounts or is there more work to it? i.e making the gear stick longer?

you will need to extend both gear levers, maybe the fuel filler pipe.
slacken the sliding joint in the steering column.
want modification bits for your suzuki.

Don't forget to remove the 2 bolts holding the bracket for the flexi brake hoses between the chassis and body :)

Also there are some electric cables under the bonnet that might need extending too :)
