stuck behind some slow moving traffic today - nothing unusaual, until i saw what was holding us up
a Ford Transit car transporter pulling a trailer - still nothing unusual.. until you realise that on the back of the transit was a Range Rover Vogue tdv...and on the trailer ANOTHER Range Rover Vogue TDV..
now if i do my maths right thats over 4 tonnes.. being dragged by a van thats legally able to carry around 1500 kgs.....talk about overloading!!!

Going back to the thread starter

Van and trailer can train weight up to 7.5 tonnes, depending on the plate of the transit, and fitted tacho, would have been interesting for a traffic cop to have stopped him :?

I was going to say 3.5tonne transits can tow more than 1500kg as my voluntary work do it all the time with box trailers. The new engined transits tow heavy loads with ease and easily forget they are behind you.
