Haynes manual's have been helping to assist budding mechanics for years now.
At last they have realised there is a new market of keen enthusiasts that what to learn new things and modify their cars.
This has been launched

Oh god no!

And on the Day Carphone warehose buys AOL.

I have yet to have a positive experience with a new style haynes manuals.

What they say takes 5 steps :

Failed to take into acount the item is rusted to hell, installed by midgets, probobly about 9 versions out of date, requires the removal of just about every othe rpart of the car, takes 11ty billion steps covers by 'see chapter nn section xx and at the end says 'Refer to your main dealer'
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.
