on my v8 3.5 efi i have a blanked off connector on the cover for the air intake (cant remember the correct name) now i have found a pipe black rubber  smallish that is not connected, by the blanked off connector this runs to a plastic ball and a smaller pipe runs off that into the car on the passenger side any idea what its for before i re connet it. oh and if it makes and differance i have lpg fitted as well

is it a large plastic ball down in the lhs of the engine bay? i think you,ll find its the thingy that shuts the flap in the heater system for recirculation it uses vacuum from the inlet manifold i think

yes thats the one a black plastic ball looks simler to a cistern float. so its nowt inportant then
