Some one putting up Christmas decorations on thier house?

Yes a family a few doors down fromme were outside putting up those ice type lights out side thier house.

I know the shops are starting to get Xmas stuff out but not even they are putting up decorations yet. Madness!!!!

There should be a law as someone said about it. Nobody should be allowed to put any decorations up until DEC 1st and shops maybe let them put thier up middle of November so it gives them a chance to sell them to peeps to put up on DEC1st.

The house who put thier icile lights up and now a flying sants and huge bells also have a sold sign outside too so Im guessing they wont be up for long

Perhaps they are trying to get them up early before some over motivated political zealot decides to ban decorations in case it may offend someone, somewhere, somehow.
I am I getting slightly cynical here?

Yesterday I took the family for a bit of a drive (250m round trip) to sort out purchasing a new dog over in Welshpool, anyway along the way I saw a number of houses with decorations for Christmas up.

I drove up mostly motorways and major routes but did go through some smaller places and it was almost like an advert for the local council estate, I drove back through Stoke-On-Trent to visit family and again only saw decorations on the few council estates I passed.

I swear people do it for the fame on TV (some local station will run the it) or maybe I am being too nice and they are actually chav scum that have too small an IQ to realise it’s another 2 months away (and a few days more) and that just because their local shop has them it don’t mean they need the [!Expletive Deleted!] things.

Obviously everyone has a choice it’s such a pity we choose to allow the gene pool to be polluted more and more by these thick [!Expletive Deleted!] breeding.

I am not generalising everyone with being “chav scum” just because they live on a council estate it is simply my conclusion drawn from my travels, and obviously not all council estate dwellers are chav scum.

Trouble is these days, that some people put sooooooooo many darn decorations up that they need to start in October to ensure that they get it all done in time.
Then after Crimbo, it takes them until March to pack them all away again

isn't it supposed to be a tradition to put the tree and decorations up on christmas eve?

I'm unfortunate enough to have a Birthday near Christmas & find it difficult to celebrate Christams til after it   :x

I also find if I go out to celebrate my Birthday everyone assumes you are celebrating Chsistmas

I also have to wait 12 months for pressies for Birthday & Christmas  :(

Does anyone else have the same problem ?

I love Xmas for the pretty lights on houses and the atmosphere around and the Xmas dinner too (the best part about Xmas) But having it all for 3-4 months I'm affraid is too long. 1 month yes but not 3 months
