No heat
« on: October 15, 2006, 17:18:05 »
Can anyone please help, our Disco (300 tdi) has no heat coming through blowers.

We have flushed the radiator, and put a new thermostat in, but still no heat, as far as we know we have got rid of the airlock in the system.

We have been told to flush the matrix unit.  Does anyone have any thoughts on this please - if we need to do that, is it a hard job?

My PC is knackered at the min, so I can only get onto another PC every couple of days, but I will keep checking to see if anyone has any suggestions.

Thanks.

Usual sign of a blown head gasket.....

Are you losing water?

Do you have white ish engine oil?

If none of the above, you could still be air locked :!:
