Not having fun
« on: October 16, 2006, 10:02:03 »
trying to sort the disco out today for its mot. and i cant get the crank case pully to sit stright on the shaft and cant find the lug it should fit into the bolt is tight but the pully will still move around and also move backwards and forwards. i still have to rebuild the exhurst system and underseal the boot area.
Anybody got any ideas on the crankcase pully why it should move and how do you locate the what ever it fits in to so the timing mark is in the correct position
Its on a v8i 3.5

There are two woodruff keys on the crankshaft. The pulley sits on that .I had to slide a new one in without removing the pulley it is possible to do.
