I used the Disco bell housing, disco clutch and disco flywheel. We drilled and tapped the bottom of the bell housing to take the extra studs and it seems pretty watertight.Graham
how did you use the disco bellhousing on a 90 gearbox ?? the input shaft is a different length :?
Oh err yes. NEWT BeltIdler bearingT Belt tensionerFront and rear crank sealInjector pump sealCam sealOuter Cover sealRocker cover gasket Fuel filterOil FilterClutch and bearingOilLand Rover 90Another thing I did think of was to change the flywheel off my 2.5 n/a aswell as its a bit lighter than the disco one which would make my truck just a tad lively........May lose a bit on the oil fuel economy but hey ho so what its not going to be any worse than my 2/5 Naturaly Asthmatic
we did one the other week and any other questions on the conversion?

I took the oil cooler pipes and power steering pipes over to Pirtek and they made up new ones. make sure you measure up well and get the dimensions right as it aint cheeap or easy to change them if you get them wrong. You may find a local agricultural engineer who can do the job cheaper than Pirtek.
