looks like the disco needs more weight in the back, and the use of low ratio to pull that thing. Youd think they would get something bigger to pull it (wouldnt you?).lol :D

Nice truck, I've seen pictures of one of those bogged up to the door handles on the Army driving ranges at Driffield.
Apparantly it took a Challenger tank to drag it out .

Brian Hartley (the 'Club Off-Road' supremo & Patrick Stewart look-alike) used to have a Leyland Martian.
He used to bring it to 'Top Farm' - the predeccesor of Langley Farm, I think he sold it to David Hoar, who owns Home Farm (the Tong off-road site)
Or was it the Stalwart that Brian sold to him?
Kev, have a quick look at this

Quite like the obvious choices like the Antar myself & the wonderfully engineered Rotinoff

Nice Richard
The ones we were with were the cargo, canvas backed version
Lot of memories of fully loaded 10 tonners engine cooking the left leg, full load, trying to get round Thirsk market place, my mate sitting on engine cover pulling on the steering wheel with me to get it round in one
Great, 28 mph flat out, except for when the governors blew and you got a runaway
OOOh for power steering
:x :x
