Out on a laning day with a few friends from another forum and had stopped in a small village to check maps etc.

Plenty of space to get past but some t****r in a white van comes steaming past from behind us catches one of the lads wingmirrors smashes it off and nearly goes head on into an oncoming car and speeds off  doing about 40 in a 30 mile speed limit

Never bothered to stopped just kept on going.

Suddenly on go the blue lights behind us and the northumbria police are after him.
He never even realised he had a police 4x4 following him

out come - all insurance details taken off white van man and charges of leaving the scene of an accident
no one hurt fortunatly but all credit to northumbria police

It was a business van as well as had companies details all over it.
So along with his no cliams could effect his job as well.
It just staggers me that people will put there not only other peoples lives on the line but there jobs as well as if its not his business I bet his boss wont be pleased

The toe rag or the copper...?!

If it's the toe rag, take great pleasure every time you see him of saying in the friendliest voice you have... "morning/afternoon/evening..."

Just let's him know you've clocked him... you cam be seen to be the "big brother" and be watching!   :D

Shame there wasn't one about when the TESCo van hit my mirror, I'd only just replaced it after the last t!t took it off.  That was back on June and I'm still chasing them for the cost of replacement.

Just go and remove goods to the value of mirror.
Make the local papers aware of what your doing and get them to send a reporter/photographer along
