Radio question

My discovery has a standard c42 radio fitted, I need to remove it, jhave been to the local halfords to get removal keys, dont do them.

The stereo has a single hole on the left and right, anyone know what the keys look like? or could post a picture. Was going to try with a bit of welding rod in each but thought I would ask before i mess it up

You need something a bit stronger than welding rod, like a jeweler's screwdriver or one end of the removal tool.

I took my C42 out using a 2mm Allen key to release it and then pulling the unit out. When replacing unit remember to fasten with the allen key otherwise it falls out on the floor  :o
