I,m annoyed now that there seem to be bargain landys about that i keep missing :evil:
One friend has just bought a P plate 300tdi disco for £500 !! an MOT failure but guess what it failed on ?   Anti roll bar not fitted to rear  :shock:  that was it nothing else just that !!
then one of the guys at work has bought a 110 van with a 200tdi engine on an H i believe for £750
where do these bargains come from? :roll:

Don't ask me, I keep missing them too.  Being in the right place I think.

Oh & keeping those that deal with landrover parts sweet is also an advantage  :wink:

i've just pick up a series 2a engine and gearbox for 99 pence of e-blag now there's a bargain :D

Tax exempt series 2a for £350 from ASDA (the ad section, not dairy!). Chassis solid, engine great, bodywork original. Needs about £100 for the MOT, I reckon.

I'm getting the impression that too many people are looking at Ebay and a lot of the bargains are still small ad's in the local newsagents, etc. After all, there are still millions who can't use a computer, let alone post something on ebay  :wink:

Spacemud is right I have had a few bargains from the small ads, Ebay makes the price go through the roof
Remember it will come in handy even if you never use it

Just be careful, Its not a ringer... £500 seems wrong to me. I would be very suspicious MOT failure or not.
